The Literacy Council Signature Series

Last night I was invited to a wonderful event. It was fun and Christmassy plus I got to see the inside of a Mountain Brook mansion, eat delicious catered food and listen to a New York Times Best seller talk about her new book. Apparently this book has been on the Best Seller List three times longer than any other book in history. Pretty Impressive! But not that surprising when you know she graduated from the University of Alabama. What else would you expect from a Tide Alum? It was a great time and best of all I got to go for FREE! Thank you, Misty!

I got a first edition signed copy of the book. Apparently they are a pretty hot item on eBay? I'll probably keep mine and actually read it. Can't wait to get started!

"The Da Vinci Code" spent more than two years straight on the NYT best seller list.

Hmmmm...the guy from Alabama Booksmith must have been confused. Or I might have not been paying enough attention and got confused myself. Actually, that is more likely what happened. Your wife was cracking my up pretty much all night. Thanks for giving her the tickets!
