Week 16

We went to the doctor this morning and everything is continuing to move along well. Heartbeat sounded strong. We go back on June 7 to find out the sex and get our 4th ultrasound. I may have imagined it with some wishful thinking – but I think I might have felt the baby move the other night. Ben was rubbing my aching back while I laid on my stomach and I felt something different than I had felt before. Might have just been the filet I had for dinner, though. :)

On a side note: I have not gained weight yet. I lost the first trimester and still have some catching up to do. I don't want to take advantage of that and go overboard, but it did make me feel like I deserved a milkshake or something. I mean, I am by no means trying to not gain weight. Just a side effect of not having an appetite, I guess. My doctor did not act concerned in anyway. I just happened to ask her. I am trying to eat lots of fruit and fresh vegetables whenever I can. But an occasional Chick-fil-a milkshake can't hurt, right?

Chick-Fil-A Milkshake = Calcium. Therefore, you should have as many as you want. Ha! :)

I am with Martina! Milkshakes were my favorite way to get calcium and cheeseburgers where my favorite way to get protein, dairy, and veggies!
