You are such a BAD influence on me. I fight every day to contain my urge to bring out all things Christmas until after Thanksgiving!
And do you really need to rationalize stuff for the guest room? It's downstairs on your MAIN living level. Of course it needs to be decorated. You can tell Ben for every taunt about the gift you get to buy one more Christmas decoration. It sounds like you would have the whole house done inside and out in the next eight weeks and back-up for next year.
I wish we were having Christmas guests so I could rationalize decorating our guest room for the holiday season.
